2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on the user's device, such as a computer, tablet or phone, while using a website.

Cookies may enable the website to function properly, remember the user's choices, compile statistics, analyse website traffic, measure the effectiveness of advertising and carry out marketing activities.

In this Cookie Policy, the term “cookies” also covers similar web technologies, such as pixels, tags, online identifiers, local storage, session storage and other solutions used to store information on the user's device or to access information already stored on that device.

3. Why we use cookies

URBANAFLEX may use cookies in particular for the following purposes:

  • ensuring the proper functioning of the online shop;
  • operating the shopping basket and the ordering process;
  • ensuring website security;
  • remembering user preferences;
  • remembering cookie consent choices;
  • compiling visit statistics;
  • analysing how the website is used;
  • improving the website and the shop's offering;
  • measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns;
  • remarketing;
  • tailoring advertising content to users' interests;
  • collecting conversion information, i.e. actions taken by the user after clicking an advert or visiting the website.

4. Types of cookies used in the shop

The shop may use the following categories of cookies:

4.1. Strictly necessary cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the online shop to function properly. Among other things, they enable the use of the basket, placing orders, remembering privacy settings, maintaining the session, ensuring security and displaying the website correctly.

These cookies may be used without the user's consent, as they are necessary to provide the electronic service requested by the user.

The user may block strictly necessary cookies in their browser settings, but this may cause the shop to malfunction or prevent the use of certain features, including placing an order.

4.2. Functional cookies

Functional cookies allow selected user settings to be remembered and make the website more convenient to use.

They may relate, for example, to display preferences, remembering the user's previous choices or other settings which are not strictly necessary for the shop to function but make it easier to use.

Functional cookies are used if the user consents to them, unless in a specific case they are necessary to provide the service requested by the user.

4.3. Analytical cookies

Analytical cookies are used to examine how the website is used, measure the number of visits, analyse traffic sources, check the popularity of individual pages and improve the functioning of the shop.

URBANAFLEX uses or may use Google analytics tools, in particular Google Analytics, as well as other web analytics tools.

Analytical cookies are used once the user's consent has been obtained.

4.4. Marketing and advertising cookies

Marketing and advertising cookies are used for advertising activities, remarketing, measuring the effectiveness of advertising, creating audience groups and tailoring adverts to users' interests.

URBANAFLEX uses or may use Google advertising tools, in particular Google Ads, as well as other advertising and marketing platforms.

Marketing and advertising cookies are used once the user's consent has been obtained.

5. First-party and third-party cookies

The shop may use:

  • first-party cookies — stored directly by the URBANAFLEX website;
  • third-party cookies — stored by external providers of tools used by URBANAFLEX.

Third parties may include, in particular, providers of analytics, advertising, remarketing and conversion-tracking tools, review management systems, security tools and other technologies that support the operation of the shop.

External providers may process data in accordance with their own rules, as set out in their privacy policies or cookie policies.

6. Google tools and other advertising platforms

The shop uses or may use Google tools for analytics, advertising, remarketing and conversion tracking, in particular Google Analytics and Google Ads.

The shop also uses or may use other advertising and marketing platforms that make it possible to run advertising campaigns, measure their effectiveness, create audiences, analyse conversions and target advertisements at users interested in the URBANAFLEX range.

In connection with the use of such tools, the following may in particular be processed:

  • cookie identifiers;
  • IP address;
  • device information;
  • browser information;
  • operating system information;
  • approximate location;
  • the source of the visit to the website;
  • user activity on the website;
  • information on advertisement impressions and clicks;
  • conversion information, e.g. placing an order, submitting a form or signing up to the newsletter.

Analytics and advertising tools that are not essential for the operation of the shop are activated only after the user has given consent.

7. Reviews of purchases and products

URBANAFLEX may use tools to collect reviews of purchases, products or the shop's customer service.

Depending on the tool used, the review system provider may use cookies or similar technologies to ensure the operation of the review form, verify the authenticity of reviews, prevent abuse or analyse the use of the service.

If a given review tool uses non-essential cookies, they will be used only after the user has given consent.

8. Managing cookie consent

On the first visit to the website, the user is given the option to manage cookie consent via the cookie banner or the cookie settings panel.

The user may:

  • accept all cookies;
  • reject non-essential cookies;
  • select individual cookie categories;
  • change their consent at a later time.

Consent to cookies is voluntary. Not consenting to analytics, marketing or advertising cookies does not prevent use of the shop, but may limit the ability to use certain additional features, personalisation or tailored advertising content.

The user may change or withdraw consent at any time via the cookie settings panel available on the shop website.

[A link or button to the cookie settings panel should be added here, e.g. “Change cookie settings”.]

9. Managing cookies in the browser

The user may also manage cookies via their web browser settings.

Depending on the browser, the user may in particular:

  • block cookies from being stored;
  • delete stored cookies;
  • receive a notification before cookies are stored;
  • block third-party cookies;
  • use private or incognito mode.

Changing browser settings may affect how the website works. Blocking essential cookies may cause certain shop features, in particular the basket or the ordering process, to work incorrectly or to be unavailable.

10. Cookie retention period

Cookies may be stored for different periods, depending on their type and purpose.

The shop may use:

  • session cookies — stored until the browser is closed or the session ends;
  • persistent cookies — stored for a specified period or until deleted by the user;
  • third-party cookies — stored for the period specified by the provider of the given tool.

Detailed information on individual cookies, their providers, purposes and duration should be available in the cookie settings panel on the shop website.

11. Personal data and cookies

Some information collected by means of cookies or similar technologies may constitute personal data, in particular where it allows the user to be identified directly or indirectly.

In such cases, the data is processed in accordance with the URBANAFLEX Privacy Policy and the provisions of the GDPR.

In connection with the use of cookies, the data processed may include, in particular, online identifiers, IP address, device data, browser data, data on activity on the website and data on interactions with advertisements.

12. Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area

In connection with the use of Google tools and other analytical, advertising, marketing or technological tools, data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, in particular to the United States.

In such cases, data is transferred on the basis of the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, in particular a European Commission adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards.

13. Changes to the Cookie Policy

URBANAFLEX may amend this Cookie Policy in the event of changes in legislation, changes to the technologies used on the website, changes to analytical, advertising or marketing tools, or changes to the way the shop operates.

The current version of the Cookie Policy is available on the shop's website.
