Plastic litter bins

Plastic litter bins are a lightweight, economical solution for everyday use. They are easy to clean and move, and come in many colours that make it simple to mark individual waste streams or zones within a building.
They are a popular choice when fitting out many rooms at once. — they form part of our range of litter bins, available in several material options.
The wide range of colours makes it possible to set up a clear waste separation system right down to the individual workstation. A different bin colour for paper and another for general waste helps staff sort correctly without extra signage. This is a popular solution when separate waste collection is being rolled out across an entire office building.
The material used for plastic bins, most often polypropylene or high-density polyethylene, is naturally resistant to moisture and cleaning agents. This means the bins can be washed frequently without the risk of corrosion that affects metal products. The trade-off for this resistance is lower tolerance of high temperatures and open flame, which should be taken into account when planning bins for areas with a higher fire risk.
The colour range for plastic bins usually covers a dozen or more shades matching common RAL systems. A single order can therefore equip an entire facility with a visually consistent labelling system (one colour for paper, another for plastic, yet another for general waste) without the need for extra stickers or signs.
Plastic bin capacities typically range from a dozen or so litres, suitable for under a desk or beside a workstation, through 30-60 litre bins for meeting rooms and corridors, up to larger 120-litre wheeled models. These are practical in catering back-of-house areas and warehouses, where waste builds up quickly and the bin has to be moved regularly to the emptying point.
Pedal-operated models help maintain hygiene in kitchens, washrooms and healthcare facilities by reducing hand contact with the bin. Lidless versions with an open aperture work well where speed of use matters most, such as school corridors or busy waiting areas.
For orders covering many units, it is worth considering models with a bin bag frame. Securing the edge of the bag over the bin rim makes changing it easier for cleaning staff and stops the bag slipping inside as it fills, a common nuisance with cheaper bins that lack this feature.
