- Protects the trunks of young trees
Bronisław vertical tree guard 150 cm is a metal structure fitted around the trunk of a young, newly planted tree. It is 150 cm high and conical in shape, with a diameter of 50 cm at the base and 40 cm at the top.
The guard protects the trunk from abrasion by passers-by, impacts from mowers and strimmers, vandalism and bark stripping by animals. This matters most in the first years after planting, when the bark is at its most vulnerable. The conical shape leaves room for the trunk to grow and allows air and light to reach the bark.
The guard is suitable for street tree planting, parks and green spaces in new developments. Install it as soon as possible after planting the tree. Check periodically that it does not restrict the growth of the trunk girth and, if necessary, replace it with a larger one.
- Height: 150 cm
- Bottom diameter: 50 cm
- Top diameter: 40 cm
