Vincent concrete parking bollard, 32 x 32 cm, height 40 cm, is a simple precast unit with a square cross-section. It is heavy enough to stand securely on the ground without additional fixing. Concrete does not corrode and resists impact well, and the bollard usually needs no painting or other maintenance for a long time.
A height of 40 cm works well where a boundary mainly needs to be marked visually, for example at entrances to promenades, cycle paths and small squares. A row of bollards along a green space discourages drivers from parking on the grass.
On development sites and residential estates, the bollards can mark out access roads and protect façades and street furniture from damage. When marking out a traffic boundary, bollards are usually spaced 1–2 m apart. Their natural concrete colour suits pavements, block paving and other concrete features.
