The Bronisław Cast Iron Tree Grille is a cast iron casting laid around the trunk of a tree growing in a hard-surfaced area. It protects the soil and roots from compaction caused by foot traffic, lets water and air through, and gives pedestrians an even walking surface.

Bronisław cast iron tree grille protects the soil around the trunk of a tree planted in a pavement, square or promenade. It covers the ground at the base of the trunk and levels the surface, so pedestrians are less likely to trip and cleaning around the tree is easier.
Water and air reach the soil through the openings in the grille. The grille also protects the roots against trampling and soil compaction, which helps trees growing in urban environments.
