Szczepan tall barrel 70 l concrete litter bin is shaped like a tall barrel and made from architectural concrete. It looks different from typical box-shaped street litter bins, so it can also serve as a decorative feature.
The bin is heavy, making it difficult to move or knock over, even in unsupervised locations. It is resistant to vandalism. It can be free-standing or permanently anchored to the ground. Inside there is a liner, usually a galvanised container or a plastic bag, which allows quick emptying and keeps waste away from the concrete housing.
The bin is well suited to pavements, parks, squares, bus stops and car parks, as well as residential estates and green spaces managed by residents' associations, housing cooperatives, developers and local authorities.
