Kathrin rectangular concrete planter, 100x50x45 cm, is made of architectural concrete. This type of concrete usually has a smoother and more uniform surface than standard concrete, which makes the planter well suited to prestigious locations: office building entrances, shopping arcades and terraces.
A height of 45 cm is sufficient for seasonal planting, perennials and ornamental grasses, while the planter does not obstruct the view of the surroundings. Concrete is resistant to weathering and mechanical damage and requires no painting or maintenance throughout its service life outdoors.
Drainage holes are usually made in the base to carry away excess water and protect the roots from rotting. The planter is placed on a level surface, e.g. block paving, paving slabs or compacted ground. The concrete shade and surface finish can be agreed with you individually.
